BATON COMPETITION INFORMATION

SATURDAY, MARCH 6, 2010  CHURCH FARM SCHOOL,EXTON, PA

Report Time: Please report by 8:15 AM.  Doors open at 8:30 AM.  Contest begins at 9:00 AM with groups.  All team members should have hair and make-up done (lipstick can be put on after we practice, but all other make-up should be done) when they report at 8:15 AM.  Please come dressed in your All American Jacket (if you have one), Red, White, or Blue Tank, Blue pants or red shorts, and a white tank.  We will be practicing from 8:30-8:45 am.  You will be able to get changed into your costume after we practice.  Contest begins with Teams, then showtwirls. All other events will follow after.

Directions:  Allow at least an hour and a half travel time.  Take 476 South-Pennsylvania Turnpike toward Philadelphia/Scranton.  Merge onto 276 West-Pennsylvania Turnpike via Exit 20 toward Norristown/Harrisburg.  Merge onto 76 East via Exit 326 towards 202/Valley Forge.  Merge onto 202 South and watch for Frazer/Downingtown Exit.  Stay in the middle to exit at the Frazer/Exton Exit.  Come down to the signal and turn right on Business 30 West.  School will appear quickly on your right side.  Turn right on Church Farm Lane.  Pavillion will be on the right side. Address of Church Farm School: 1001 East Lincoln Highway, Exton, PA.  Directions are from Mapquest, please check to make sure they are the best directions for you.

General Notes:

• Absolutely no flash photography is allowed during the competition.
• Videotaping is allowed, however, you may only videotape your own child and our groups. You are not allowed to videotape any other groups or soloist. Doing so will result in disqualification.
• You will not perform if you do not have your costume, shoes, and/or other accessories that you are supposed to wear for your routine. If extra items are available, then you will be able to perform.  If an item is new, it must be paid for the day of the competition.  If the item is borrowed, it must be returned after performing.  There is no guarantee that I will have extra items.
• It is the responsibility of the parent to pin costumes and put on accessories.
• Cheryl & Theresa will have each students jewelry bag.  It is the parent's responsibility to put all jewelry & accessories on their child and all jewelry must be returned to the child's bag as soon as they are finished performing.
